USA Market

I worked for a German pneumatics company for over 20 years and working with different steel threaded pipe nipples   and have over 30 years experience in fluid power. The US market loves to resist doing things the right way due to perceived expense of doing it right up front, so they spend more money with inefficiencies such as leaks, which are a nightmare in hydraulic systems as you know, and worse in pneumatic systems because you can't see air leaks but they are very costly. Much more costly than doing the right thing during original assembly. A major factor in this is the OEMs who build equipment don't bear the cost of leaks, so they tend to use inexpensive and inefficient plumbing techniques because they cost less to install, but are far more costly to the end user in the long run. I've been in the fluid power business for over 30 years and this issue has never really changed. This was the reason when pan china decided to manufacture galvanized threaded pipe nipples with rolled thread. Basically rolled thread is use to increase the efficiency and quality of the product.

Today i asked a question regarding steel threaded pipe nipples and its use in fluid power industries.

Mr bruce said  Pipe Nipples ? As in NPT/BSPT? NO! none, not ever! Tapered thread fittings have no place in any fluid power system! 

  Mr Jim said  Bruce, on a technical level I completely agree with you. Having said that, my most recent experience is more in pneumatics than in hydraulics, and that statement holds true for pneumatic systems as well, but unfortunately you will see tapered threads all over both hydraulic and pneumatic systems in the field, generally due to a lack of understanding and education on the subject. Too many people think things such as Teflon tape and other sealing rings make it okay. Incorrectly. Would you agree?

Bruce said Absolutely! I work for a Hydraulic service company and the pipe thread fittings are a nightmare! I was just trying to make a point. There are so many better solutions! My personal preference would be the ORFS but the choice of styles / adapters is pretty limited. ORB and JIC have many more options. We see so many cylinder ports and valve blocks that are pipe thread and have been connected and reconnected so many times the threads no longer seal.
 
 What i said is there concern are rite but when you talk about galvanized threaded pipe nipples there is no recall work on it as because of the perfect thread profile being always excellent connection with the fittings

that's we claim that we are the best in quality in whole world and no one can manufacture that quality threaded pipe Nipples. So we are the best.

1st day at work after New year :)



Today the day was really busy if you talk about buyer and research regarding steel threaded pipe nipples..  The day went good today as in most of the countries the holidays are finish and people are coming back to office so I just start my days by calling Australia market but from there I didn’t got much better response but after that when I call to Uk I got very good response people are back and now they are looking for new deals and requirements.
So I start call different companies. The companies were mostly from my industry and they were dealing in my product. One buyer told me that we do deal in chimes products and  I know there is a negative image in market regarding Chinese products , that why before purchasing we make sure that the galvanized threaded pipe nipples we are purchasing is of high quality because we are very strict at our standards.

Happy New year


Today the day was okay, not very good as all the buyers are on vacation and just we are working and trying to find some buyer for steel threaded pipe nipples. What I have noticed that most of the buyers are on vacation since 25 December. 1st they celebrated Christmas, and now they will going to celebrate new year.  I hope that the comping year would going to be great in terms of buyer and distributors and I will going to get many buyer and we will going to close many successful deals for galvanized threaded pipe nipples, which are use as a hydraulics fitting in many oil and gas companies. Holidays


As you know today is new-year night so mostly people are on vacations but we are are still looking for buyers. So I got a buyer from U.A.E he was looking for steel threaded pipe nipples. He asked me that we are a distributor that is currently purchasing our plumbing (fittings, nipple, coupling) requirements from a number of different companies in China.  Please quote the attached part numbers if you can meet the American specification requirements. 
After receiving his email I ask him about the quantity of order. He told me that our plan would be to receive samples, quotations initially and then move to 1 pallet and then to a 20ft container.
I send him our   galvanized threaded pipe nipples samples and he really like the quality of our product now let’s see how things move on. Waiting for their reply.

Off days


Today day was very off as holidays have been started in whole world and its year end as well, so people are not much interested in doing business in steel threaded pipe nipples these days, although the products is unique. So I started contacted people at LinkedIn that Hope you are doing good. Thanks for accepting my friend request. I am the overseas marketing Manager for Pan China fastening company, how about you? Looking forward to know about you. I send this message to nearly 700 people by selecting each of them. 

This process took nearly 3 hrs to send massage to everyone. One thing I notice that people reply to short and concise messages and they don’t read long messages. So try to keep your message to the point and concise. After few minutes I started getting response from different people. People want to communicate, but they don’t reply when they feel it is just a sales promotion. So try to give brief information about you and your company and in this ways try to start your communication. My product   galvanized threaded pipe nipples is very unique but through this process I have been able to get connected with some buyers.

It was not a good day today


Today it was not really good day today as most of the European and USA markets are close due to Christmas and New Year. So today the market I contacted mostly was gulf market for my product steel threaded pipe nipples.
The company I contacted first was a group of companies and I was already aware that they are looking for suppliers for pipe fittings, so I contacted them and talk to their purchasing manager. There purchasing manager told me that they have some huge requirements and they are looking for our exclusive support. I told them ok that is not a problem for us, so she sent me her requirements. But unfortunately the requirement she send me its specification was more than what we are manufacturing so it was useless for us as we are in manufacturing of galvanized threaded pipe nipples
